Superradiance is a special way that light can be produced when many atoms or particles work together instead of acting alone. However, it is a phenomenon that has yet to be recorded at room temperature. In this video, Ahyoung Lee explains what superradiance describes. Normally, atoms emit light independently. In superradiance, however, they become synchronised. When they emit light together, the result is a much stronger, more intense, and more coherent burst of light.
